Once upon a time, a curly blonde haired little
girl was born in Brooklyn, NY. She had a dream about moving west
since thoughts first started to form.
West she eventually went. West to Maui. And
it was there that she started the world famous Maui Surfing School.
A school where beginners and cowards alike could learn to surf.
Most students got up on their first wave. That is how good her technique
was. But there was more to life than surfing,
so a wedding company was started – one of the very first Maui
had ever seen. And Andrea became a licensed wedding officiant, performing
over 500 weddings and vow renewals in just a few years time.
But the biggest dream of all was to supply visitors
to Maui with fine vacation accommodations and that came to fruition
with Andrea eventually owning 5 oceanfront condos and providing
a service finding just the perfect rooms for many, many Maui visitors.
Today Andrea spends most of her time in Truckee/Lake
Tahoe after 23 years on Maui. And when she is not scuba diving
the Great Barrier Reef, mountain biking in Truckee, kayaking on
the local lakes and rivers, running marathons, traveling the world
over, spending time with her grandbaby, family and beloved dogs,
she is taking your calls and emails regarding accommodations at the Sierra Views and Maui Hawaii.
Andrea is proud to host her privately owned Lake Tahoe vacation
rental cabin.
A portion of all rental income goes to the Truckee
Donner Land Trust.
The mission of the Truckee Donner Land Trust is to preserve and
protect important recreational, scenic and historic open spaces
in the Truckee/ Donner area. Founded in 1990, the Land Trust has
protected over 3,300 acres of recreational, scenic and historic
open spaces in our corner of the Sierra. We have aggressive plans
to protect as many as 15,000 acres in the next few years.
